Sleepy Sunday

First a quick status update. I want to thank everyone for their well wishes and comments. Also want to thank Rachel for the info, I am following up on it. What happened was that I had gotten an extension with the power company, to send payment out on the first. The same day I mailed my payment I got notice from my bank that they would stop my overdraft protection (I had been to many days below 0). On the 5th I got a cut off notice but on the 6th they received my check which gave me time to make a post. Kept checking balance at the bank and they did cover the check so will get to keep power. Been trying too hard to keep everything going. I might still need to let internet go until I get caught up on rent and utilities. Just do not want anyone to wonder what happened to me.

Priorities are rent first then cat food. That way I can take care of the cats. Then everything else comes after. So I might still disappear but will be back as soon as possible. Until then I plan on keeping the blog updated. So no more depressing stuff and on with the regular Sunday feature.

Girl is spending more time out and about. I did give in being as am only feeding them dry, I started feeding her in the bedroom again. After eating she gets on the bed to sleep, something she has not done for a while. Even better she is sleeping with me now, even with other kitties on the bed. She will go to her corner to lay down and stays there even when Ugly lays down near her.

Squirrel is coming out more also, she had been hiding somewhat because of Mizz Purrzzy. She has started sleeping on my dresser as you can see in the photo.

This is Pretty in the tunnel, she likes to spend time in there.

Best friends holding hands. Couldn't pass this one up, they used to spend a lot of time together.

Finally TJ is in the closet napping. I guess he just wanted to get away from it all.

I also still have my Zazzle store going you can click here to see what I have up, thank you.

  1. Pride aside, have you thought about asking for a CB auction to help pay for cat food, etc.? I had to do it for Derry's mega-vet bill after his $1255 dental surgery in June of last year. It took me a month or so to get past my own sense of ego-based pride, but sometimes it's stronger to reach out and ask for help when you need it. You'd be surprised how generous and caring strangers can be.

Consider also (or in lieu of) a PayPal button for donations. I've got a PayPal account set up to accept donations (needed it for the auction, not currently using it) and a number of others do too. I know it feels degrading, like you have your hand out begging and you feel lower than dirt (okay, I did), but again, it's better to ask for help than struggle on alone, truly. A difficult lesson I'm still learning, even at my age.

    Just consider it, okay?

    Sending Light and hugs,

    Kim

  2. Another than Kim's suggestion, My mom said when you can get back on net. You may search " earn money online" , You can do at home and in Australia, Lots of people earn more than people who go to work. Might be another good option for you.

    Hugs to all
    xoxo

  3. We hope things work out for you. It's great how you try so hard to keep taking care of the kitties.

  5. Hang in there...you have priorities straight and there's always the public library for internet. I think we've all been in your position and I agree with Kim, we'd all be willing to help if you need it.
    Love the holding hands!

  6. We agree with everyone here. Yes, we have all been in your place and understand. We can't always help a lot, but we sure do what we can when we can. There is always strength in numbers. And little bits add up to a lot. Just hang in there. We're thinking of you and sending good thoughts, happy energy, and Beauty in your direction :-)

    (((Hugs))) and Nosebumps =^~^=
Thank you for sharing all the pictures. We could not pick a favorite, although several of us are leaning toward the nap in the closet!
